Always Make Sure There Are No Holes In Rubber Gloves
For some people, dying their hair is a big decision especially if it is an untraditional color like bright blue. You have to bleach your hair first, and then add the color afterward. All in all, it is a lengthy process and one you definitely want to wear gloves for. If no gloves are involved, or if there is a hole in one of the gloves then this situation can occur.
This person now gets to enjoy bright blue hair, and a middle finger accidentally dyed to match it. The finger matches the drapes!
Become The Man Of Any Woman's Dreams With These Lessons
Some men think the way to a woman's heart is through playing songs like Oasis' "Wonderwall" on guitar, and sure it does work in some instances. It is especially good to pull out a guitar and croon a few lyrics around a campfire when that fiery glow makes everyone look more attractive. Singing a song, and playing guitar at the same time does take some skill, which makes these cheap lessons perfect.
Patrick knew just how to market himself to the demographic he was trying to attract, and we bet he had many new students.
Beware Of This Car Dealership Not Sharing All Of The Information
Typically, car dealerships and the car salesmen that work at them, do their best to move vehicles as soon as they hit the lot. Any business that runs on commission, encourages their employees to "sell sell sell". Selling takes time, and some sneaky salesman may not share all of the necessary information about the vehicles they are trying to sell, which is colloquially known as "selling lemons." Clearly, the owner of this truck was a victim of not asking enough questions.
Now, this truck driver is basically shouting from the highway that this car dealership should be avoided at all costs.
Beware Of Unopened Paper Envelopes In Close Proximity To Shredders
There is a simple joy that comes out of shredding paper. You get to slowly feed it into the shredder, and then watch it turn into little strips of paper. This boss thought she was just shredding some confidential documents when her assistant asked if she had received the envelope of cash on her desk. Also, that cash was instantly turned into thin money-colored paper strips which were basically unusable.
Once a document is shredded, it is pretty tough to match up all of the pieces together. It is the equivalent of trying to put a puzzle together without a photo of what the finished product is supposed to look like.
The Titanic And Water Damage Are Mutually Exclusive
Most people know the history behind the Titanic. This ship was expected to be one of the greatest in the world until it hit an iceberg on its maiden voyage and sunk. Many movies and documentaries have been made about this vessel, and some intrepid diving teams have even ventured into the wreck itself. Over the decades, lots of artifacts from the wreck have made their way into private collections and museums.
Naturally, this Titanic artifact exhibition could not continue because of some unforeseen water damage. The Titanic curse is still going strong.
Tight Pants And Ceremonial Marching Can Lead To Gaping Situations
Many militaries have ceremonial clothing that they have to wear on special occasions. Marching and artillery are often included in these occasions, and the pants tend to be very well-fited. This soldier was ready for duty, and was marching along when he looked down and had an, "Oh no," moment. Those aren't striped running through his pants, but his leg showing through the ripped seam. Apparently marching too vigourously can tear pants.
Next season's military garb should be made with a bit more spandex to avoid clothing malfunctions like this from happening again. This is his Janet Jackson at the Superbowl moment.
Pizza Boxes And Car Roofs Are Not A Great Mix
Pizza has to be one of the most delicious fast foods on the planet. Not only does it taste great, but it combines all of the food groups into one. It has dairy, vegetables, grains, and even meat, although all of the oil might make it a tad on the unhealthy side. After picking up a delicious pizza for the evening, this person realized they needed to get out their car keys.
That pizza box ended up on the roof of the car and was completely forgotten. Sadly, this pizza ended up biting the dust and nobody got to enjoy it.
Gravity Works In Not So Mysterious Ways When It Comes To Stairs
What goes up must come down, right? After hearing the doorbell ring, and racing down the stairs, this person realized there was no stopping the force of their body and its downward motion. That's right, gravity decided to pull them down the stairs and headfirst into the drywall. While this may not be the most ideal of situations it is a learning experience for everyone involved. Gravity always wins the race.
Fixing a hole like this is going to be a pretty big undertaking. It will require more than a bit of spackle, and a slick of paint.
Russian Roulette With Deviled Eggs Is A Lose Lose Situation
Deviled eggs are really one of those love or hate kinds of appetizers. Not only are they a bit stinky, but the texture of cold jelly from the egg white and the somewhat granular blended yolk part is an acquired taste. To shake up a boring dinner party, this person decided to play Russian roulette with their plate of deviled eggs and add a rather spicy new ingredient to one of them.
Small amounts of wasabi can clear out blocked sinuses, but a large amount like this one can literally knock the socks off of someone.
All It Takes Are A Few Lottery Numbers To Change A Life
Winning the lottery jackpot seems like one of the best ways to try and get rich quick. All you have to do is select a few numbers, and wait for them to be called. Obviously, the odds of actually winning millions of dollars this way is low, but it does happen. After seeing the lotto number come up on the screen this person could not believe the error they had made when selecting their numbers.
Literally every number was off by one, and if they had just decided to go one number up or down for each one they could have been a millionaire.
When Buying A Vacuum It Is Important That It Sucks
Usually, you don't want to buy something that sucks, but when it comes to purchasing a vacuum that is basically the key criteria. A vacuum that can't suck isn't worth it. Whoever decided to use this as a marketing ploy might want to work on finding a more positive message though. It might be time to get onto social media and start doing some promotions for vacuums that suck the best.
Although, if you get the joke, then this is the perfect vacuum store to go shopping at. They probably have some of the best in the business.
This Butter Really Needs To Work On Its Morning Face
The last thing anyone wants to face in the morning is a judgemental butter face staring up at them. Somehow, this butter molded itself into a rather unsettling judgy face, and the person who was greeted by it could not help but think it was going to be a less than stellar day. We can't say we blame them for thinking this, but the thing about butter is that it can always be remolded.
A few fingers here, and a few fingers there and this judgy face can be turned into a smiling one.
Just Listen To The License Plate And Everything Will Be Fine
Going that extra mile to get a customized license plate at the Department of Motor Vehicles takes some serious thought. The license plate should reflect something personal about the vehicle owner, and for this one, they clearly decided they had been rear-ended a few too many times. There is a slight problem though with having a custom license plate, and it's that everyone wants to get close enough to read it.
It would appear that the object in the mirror was far closer than it appeared because this vehicle got rear-ended once more.
What The Valet Stall Looks Like In Las Vegas Is Important
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas right? This is a good motto for anyone going to Sin City to follow, but you always need to keep your wits about you, otherwise, you might get scammed. Many smaller casinos and restaurants don't offer a valet service, which this establishment was kind enough to remind its patrons of. Beware of any person dressed up as a valet here, otherwise you might not have a car to return to.
It would seem in true Ferris Bueller style, someone has been joy riding around in other peoples' cars and potentially not returning them.
There Is A Favorite Child Or Pet In Every Family
Playing favorites whether it is at home or in the office is never ideal but no matter what it does seem to happen. This granddaughter always thought she was the favorite until a very special dog came into her grandmother's life. Nobody could compete with this faithful companion, and there is photographic evidence to support this. Just take a look at this frame and the two photos it has inside.
The dog is the focal point, and the granddaughter just exists in a tiny square underneath the dog. At least now she knows where she falls in the house hierarchy.
Some Car Keys Are More Than They Appear To Be
A lot of people don't own cars for various reasons, but this boyfriend doesn't own one because he can just borrow his girlfriend's when he needs to. He thought he would just pop over and have a glass of iced tea with his mom on the patio, but they both got a lot more than they bargained for. The car keys had a sneaky feature hidden on them that the boyfriend didn't know about.
Accidents happen, and this girlfriend wanted to make sure she could escape her vehicle through the window if she needed to. That's why she added a window-breaking tool to her keys. That tool and this glass patio table did not become best friends that day.
Shortening Words Can Give Them A Whole New Meaning
Anyone who works in the service industry, particularly at restaurants knows how important it is to establish short forms for different items on the menu. No one wants to waste precious time writing down "breadcrumb encrusted Pacific halibut" when they could just write "hal." It makes sense that this restaurant would do the same for delivery orders, but usually, they won't write them straight on the box if they sound kind of weird.
We know these are supposed to be garlic butter knots, but what's written here does not sound quite as delectable even if it is the short form.
How To Keep A House Cold According To Some Moms
As soon as those winter months roll around, moms know it is time to pull the cold weather clothing out of storage. Kids need to be all bundled up in snowsuits and snow boots when they go outside, but all of those items tend to get wet and drippy after being brought inside. This mom decided to place wet gloves over the heating vent in the floor, as well as whatever else she could find.
While this was likely unintentional. everyone in the house couldn't figure out why it was always freezing. Those diapers and the Swiffer were busy stealing all the hot air.
Every Snow Skid Mark Has A Long Tale To Tell
The hazards of walking on a snowy and icy sidewalk are numerous. If you don't have shoes with some grip on the bottom, no matter how slowly you walk, chances are you are going to slip and fall down. If we put on our detective hats and examine this snowy skid mark, it becomes obvious that something happened here. Someone took a tumble and used their hands to catch them.
The other set of footprints shows that the second person just walked away. Did something dastardly happen here? Maybe a snowy fight happened on this sidewalk.
All Are Welcome To The Church Of Ladder Day Saints
Using a ladder to climb up onto a roof is always a risky business. Someone needs to stand at the bottom of the ladder and hold it steady while the other person scrabbles up the rungs. Whatever needed to be done on this church's roof must have needed to be done quickly, because this rickety ladder looks like it might just come tumbling down. A cherry picker would have been a safer option.
Anyone thinking about climbing up to their roof would do better to make sure their ladder is long enough, and they are wearing safety equipment.
Eau De Melted Plastic And Other Little Known Candle Scents
Every year candle companies come out with the latest scents. Most people opt for a floral scent like jasmine, while others prefer something citrusy like orange blossom, and others like something muskier like sandalwood. The one scent that never seems to make it on the candle menu is the smell of melted television plastic. After lighting a nice tea light for a few hours, the owners of this home could not figure out what the smell was.
The smell was none other than their television melting off of the wall, and it must have smelt like not so delicious chemicals.
Bleach Is The Best Product For Unintentional Tie Dye Jobs
Bleach is a cleaning product that can get rid of almost any stain but it does need to be diluted. Pure bleach is not something that should be cleaned with unless someone is wearing thick rubber gloves. Besides cleaning, bleach is also able to act as a dye for clothing, although most of the time this is by accident. A spray of bleach can instantly speckle dark clothes and turn them into something new.
Unluckily for this person, they dropped a bottle of open bleach which splashed all over their shoes and pants. The result is a kind of cool orange spray design, which some of us might actually want to try intentionally.
Oven Safe Is A Label Some People Should Look For
When it comes time to heat up some bread, the first thing most people do is warm up the oven, and grab a baking tray to place the loaf on. Clearly, the person in charge of heating up this bread failed to understand that most plastic and high heat are not a match made in heaven. Instead of some scrumptious bread waiting to be buttered they opened the oven their own worst nightmare.
Instead of grabbing a baking tray, they had grabbed a plastic cutting board and the result was this stringy mess of melted plastic.
There Is A Right Way And A Wrong Way To Clean A Laptop Screen
Laptop screens tend to stay pretty clean unless you are one of those typers that also likes to point to things on the screen and sometimes forgets that it is not a tablet. The owner of this laptop knew they needed to clean all of those finger marks off of the screen and assumed that a regular window glass cleaner would do the trick. The screen of laptops and the glass on a window is not the same though.
A few spritzes of glass cleaner and a couple of swipes of paper towel and this laptop screen now needs to be completely replaced. This is one of those errors that's easy to make. All glass should be able to be cleaned the same!
If It Looks Too Good To Be True It Probably Is
There are millions of ads on Facebook, and many of them are for products that look great, like this rainbow Christmas tree. The photo from the ad makes it look like a fluffy six-foot tall tree, and that is what convinced this buyer to go ahead and punch in their shipping details for it. As soon as the box for the tree arrived, they knew that their expectation would not match the reallity.
Not only is the tree only a couple of feet tall, but the rainbow color scheme leaves a bit to be desired. This is the kind of tree you would pick up at a dollar store, not an online retailer.
The Differences Between Brining And Baking A Holiday Turkey
When it comes to preparing for the holidays, especially the food, it is always important to read the fine print on items you are buying. For example, there are baking bags and brining bags for turkeys. Baking is pretty straightforward, you turn on the oven, and the bird cooks for a few hours. Instead of preparing a turkey for baking though, this person accidentially used a brining bag which led to a big salty mess.
A brining mixture is supposed to be used before a turkey is cooked, as the salting process can tenderize meat and add more flavor. Baking a turkey in brine apparently leads to this gross mess.
Stew With A Hint Of Shattered Glass Is The Latest Cuisine
Cooking is a great hobby, especially if you are good at it. Everyone enjoys eating a good meal, and knowing that someone put a lot of time and energy into making a nice meal makes it that much more special. After laboring in the kitchen for 3 whole hours, this husband thought he had a stew fit for a king. That is, until the lid of the pot decided to shatter.
Stew with a bit of glass is fine right? We do not suggest eating stew with any glass in it ever, even if someone spent a lot of time making it!
An Unusual Wake Up Call Involves A Car And A House
Sunday mornings are the perfect time for a lie-in. You get to sleep in and not worry about waking up to the ringing of an alarm clock, which is why it was odd when this family heard a loud thump one fine Sunday morning. It wasn't the sound of their regular alarm clock because it wasn't a clock. Some careless driver had somehow managed to drive their car straight into their house.
The driver of this car didn't do just a little bit of damage. It cost a whopping $24,000 to fix the car sized hole in this home.
Sometimes It Takes More Than A Contractor To Fix A Wall
Have you ever seen a wall that looks like a poorly made accordion? Someone on Facebook decided to post this photo and share that they were looking for a contractor to come in and fix a wall that had already had a number of patch jobs. This basement wall, which looks like it is supposed to be supporting the whole house is bowing from the weight of that task, and it appears to be a losing battle.
If this wall isn't fixed soon, then the whole house might just come down and completely eliminate the basement level.
Glass Top Stoves And Cabinetry Should Be A Good Fit
As people get older, the excitement that comes with getting a new appliance is very real. A new oven and stove can be a gamechanger for people who have old electric ones with funky burners. After searching high and low for the perfect glass top stove, these people finally installed theirs just to see their kitchen cabinet come crashing down on top of it. Now this is literally the worst case scenario.
We really hope the owners of this snazzy stove bought insurance, otherwise they are going to have to put their old stove back in.
New Art Is Created Every Second And A Lot Of It Is Unintentional
Sculpting the bust of what looks like Henry Cavill in Netflix's "The Witcher" takes some serious time and skill. After carefully creating each strand of hair, and carving out the face it was time to transport the bust to a drying area. Unfortunately, the artist stumbled and drop the bust face first on to the ground. The whole point of art though is that something new can be created at any moment and that's exactly what happened.
The smushed in face bust is now the latest in abstract art. It would work as a great bookend as well, if the smushy face is too scary.
Lionesses Are All Around If You Look Closely Enough
Lots of things go bump in the dark, but only a few animals go roar. After a successful day of hunting, this gentleman thought that it was time to take a nice photo. It was only after the photographer looked down and saw all of the glowing eyes in the distance, that they realized they weren't alone. Simba appeared to have sent all of his lionesses to check out what was hunted.
These lionesses better have been thrown a few bones, otherwise the next photo might have looked a little less friendly and a whole lot more dangerous.
Come On Outside, The Weather Is Fine Today
Growing up, a snow day is what every kid dreams of. As soon as the news or the radio announces that schools are going to be shut, kids rejoice and parents start wondering how they are going to keep them busy. Nobody in this household realized just how much snow had fallen until they tried to head outside and build a snowman. As soon as they opened the door they were greeted by six feet of snow.
Somebody must have had to shovel their way out of the house, which we would have loved to see.
Just Another Case Of The Mondays For This Guy
Many workplaces have dress codes that need to be adhered to. Some offices want everyone to be in a suit and tie, with matching dress shoes. Others, like tech companies, just want their workers to wear what they are comfortable in. The person who took this photo belongs to the former group. However, after quickly sticking his dress shoes on he realized he had made a grave error in footwear choice.
While both of these dress shoes are black, they are definitely not the same. Someone must have been in a rush to get to work, not to notice the difference.
Always Select The Right Defrost Button On Snowy Days
In Alaska, residents of the state are used to getting a ton of snow, and temperatures which drop well below freezing. What this means for vehicle owners is that they need to warm up their enginers before they can drive to work. After starting the vehicle, this guy tapped what he thought was the rear defrost button, but it was actually for the sun roof. As soon as the sun roof slid back, an avalanche of snow rained down on him.
All we have to say, is that we hope he had a change of clothes ready because when that snow melts it is going to be pretty chilly.
Not All Kitchen Cabinetry Is Bolted To The Wall The Same
There is a reason that people hire professional cabinet makers and installers, and this photo here is the reason why. Cabinetry made of wood tends to be pretty heavy, and if it is not installed correctly it can come crashing down and take the dry wall with it. One morning, this family woke up to a loud crash and what they were greeted with was a kitchen nightmare that even chef Gordon Ramsey would be surprised by.
All of the upper cabinets had come unbolted from the wall, and the plates they contained had smashed all over the floor. Now this is an expensive nightmare to fix.
A Rolled Down Window Overnight Never Ends Well
On a hot summer's day, vehicle windows need to be rolled down to keep cool air flowing through, but in the winter, windows tend to stay up. We're not sure what happened here, but the owner of this car seems to have forgotten to close a window before heading inside their home for the night. It's a bit odd that the window was rolled down in the winter, but weird things happen all the time.
This should be a lesson to everyone who drives in the winter. Always check windows are up before heading in for the night, otherwise a car full of snow might greet you in the morning.
The Half Car Door Is The Latest In Unintentional Innovations
A lot of research and design goes into new car models. Each new model is expected to be better than the last, and that means working out any kinks found in the last model. If we had to guess, we would say that whatever happened to this car is a kink that needs to be fixed as soon as possible. After opening the passenger side door, the innards of the door decided to stay glued to the car.
Half doors are popular for horse stalls, but not for cars that passengers need to get in and out of.
All Of The Allergic Reactions Are On This Person's Back
Some people suffer from run of the mill allergies, like being allergic to peanuts or cats. For this woman, she went for some standard allergy testing to find out why she was constantly breaking out in hives. The result of her allergy test was a back full of massive hives. Instead of being allergic to just one thing, she is allergic to basically everything with the worst reaction being to horses.
Any dreams she had of being an equestrian probably went out the window that day. Barns are the last place she should be visiting, so we hope she likes animals like lizards and snakes instead.
Welcome Foreigner To The German Green And Blue Party
Every country has their own special parties, and unless you know what the local slang means, you might not fully understand what these parties are for. Take this guy here who thought he was going to a green and blue themed costume party. He put on his best Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle costume only to find out that green and blue mean very different things when it comes to apartment parties in Germany.
The blue part refers to enjoying a few too many beverages, and the green part refers to a certain plant that is legal in countries like Canada and illegal in others. He must have had a real educational moment that night.
